@Anon1 They're not trash. Just because YOU personally don't like them don't like doesn't mean they're trash. If you have a problem with them cause of the tingly back situation, then go watch Geekdom101's Tingly Back Super Saiyan explained video on YouTube. Energy is actually rooted from your back. It actually DOES make sense.
Though it's understandable how most Westerners couldn't understand it at first.

HEY GUYS, BULLSHIT CAN BE EXPLAINED! THAT MAKES IT GOOD, RIGHT?! No, actually. Just because you can explain it doesn't mean it's somehow acceptable. Toriyama, that fucking hack, goes on about S cells to explain why there are so many SSJs, but that doesn't make it any less lazy and stupid.
Just like Goten and Trunks, these two trash characters got it easily, along with that worthless fuck Cabba. Because why have a Saiyan character if they don't have shiny hair? And why have them work for anything at all when they can just use chakra bullshit and retconned S cells to explain why they can do so easily what was once THE LEGEND?
And why even bother to make Broly some kind of canon when you can just copy his movie for more """""content""""" to show just how """""super awesome""""" this new character is? That'll totally win over everybody!
