Ok, I cant think of any good reason as to why the hilt is an engine block.
Therefore my reasoning for it will be that he uses the handle as an ass vibrator and needs high octane revving to reach climax.

I just show all comments anyways and generally ignore downvoting, supidity tends to sort its self out.
The character is pretty meh but I'm sorry his ass vibrator doesn't need v-twin power. Its just just stupid. Final Fantasy has become just another JRPG and most of the stuff post FF8 is just painful to play. The sword is not "badass" so much as it is a metaphor of what playing FFvXIII will feel like.
