Does Gengar just choose what size it wants to be on whim? If so that's kinda bullshit. I've seen Gengars the size of Raichi's and in other instances the size of Charizards.

In anime certain pokemon are different sizes because they being from the same species don't make them the same, in real world some individual can have very different sizes. In pokemon's world evolucion=our world metamorphosis. Is's logical that before and after "evolucion" they suffer some growt. In game EV's IV's and other things could traduce in that exchanges in anime. That explains too dominant pokemon.
But more of the bulshit I have said, Pokemon anime is not somewher you look for logic or something, inconsistencies are so tipical that a normal type attack can hit a ghost type pokemon.
