Okay so I think the origin of Bowsette is from a fan comic where Bowser eats a royalty mushroom and turns into the Bowsette we all know and love. So if I'm right is this technically gay? I don't mean to trash this stuff but I'm just jokingly making a question pulled outa my ass.

Bowser doesn't eat a royalty mushroom, he uses Toadette's super crown (which turns toads into princesses), and finds out that it turns him into a Bowser-Princess.
I'm not sure if it qualifies as gay or not - Bowsette is female through and through, but Bowser's brain inside Bowsette isn't. That's all assuming Bowser and Bowsette are both male-brained - either Bowser is wired to be a gay male and has had the hots for Mario for a long time, or Bowsette is wired female and is diggin' getting the chance to go to town with Mario.
