Besides the chibi style, I don't quite see anything bad about her new design. Pretty stockings and nicer spread of the blue bits

The problem is that her design here is a massive downgrade when compared with her original design in the games (also shown in generations) and especially in the original anime that. Plus the chibi look doesn't help at all.
