Even the strongest chracther in the setting is a snail compared to the Doomslayer. He dodges enemy lasers casually and he has enough guns to solo all of the Goblin Slayer universe.

People make GS out to be a medieval Doomguy but he is more of a medieval Punisher if that makes sense. Guts from Berserk is more fitting for medieval Doomguy.

Doomguy isn't omnicidal. He only kills demons and those affiliated. In Eternal he ignores guards despite them technically being part of the demon cult.
