^It's a joke at how Xander Mobus, the english voice actor of Joker, also voices the Announcer and Master and Crazy Hands in Smash 4 and Ultimate, and with Joker being the first DLC character in Ultimate(technically it's Piranha Plant, but it doesn't count towards the fighters pass, which has five DLC fighters of which Joker is the first one), things are bound to be funny when you choose him.
