It would be interesting to see what kind of monster themed fighters they can come up with. Maybe give Street Fighter some time and room to breathe. I mean if they can try to add a story mode like NetherRealm Studios did, maybe they can alternate between game franchises too?

Capcom should buy SkullGirls and combine it with Darkstalkers make it look like the gif above, with DoA body physics, and call it Darkstalkers: Skull Busters

if only, sadly it seems the only thing the last few fighting game IPs left care about is milking them with DLC and micro-transactions, and trying absurdly hard to make them into e-sports brands.

Honestly there’s a few weirder Street Fighter characters that would probably fit in more with the Vampire and Darkstalker crowd. Since it deals with a more paranormal, supernatural and magical setting, it really allows you to go out there and be creative and weird. And guest characters like Monster Hunter or Dante wouldn’t feel out of place like they would in a street fight.
