I like the fact that the drain plug is just out her grasp.

(even if she could reach it I doubt the water would drain before she drowned, and the force of the vortex would probably rip her apart)

Not necessarily. If she's only 10 or 15 feet deep, she wouldn't be ripped apart. It would hurt like a bitch, and she'd be badly bruised (maybe some cracked bones), but not ripped apart. If it's less, the damage would be less, too.

Although, she'd have to keep her eyes closed very tightly, and turn point her face straight down towards the floor, or they would be ripped out. If she faced away from the plug, they would just be crushed.

Um... no, this is a small drain, not Niagara Falls. She would feel a light suction as she fades cause it would take the better part of a hour to drain something that big with a hole that small.

Anonymous #7-the force of the suction is determined by two things-the size of the drain, and the depth of the water. If the drain were bigger, then yes, the suction would be bigger. Given how deep it is, though, the force is still pretty damn high.
