Truth be said. Yin as a character kind of put off this incredibly sad vibe because you can tell that the creator of the series wanted to flesh her out as a incredibly in depth individual. However I don't think most of the fan base didn't picked up on it because it just simply wasn't interesting enough to warrant any amount of adulation. So I think she's actually a under-represented female protagonist archetype that rarely gets used but should. The Poetry was a bit heavy-handed, and unnecessary but I guess they still needed to convey some sort of emotion foundation regardless whether or not her character should be expressing any to begin with. I know my opinion doesn't really matter but I kind of wondered if anyone else thought the same way.

While I wouldn't go as far as call her incredibly in depth, I would definitely agree that she's an adorable character with quite a lot of nuance to her, and probably my favourite among the whole DtB cast. So yes, other people do feel the same way.
I'd also argue that the kuudere archetype is not all that underrepresented and crops up here and there, even if considerably less than tsundere and yandere archetypes. Most shows these days tend to have one or more of each type, though I can't remember the last time a kuudere actually won and got together with the protagonist.
