As much as I know Hypno being a mind controlling rapist is a thing, I much prefer her with more thematically appropriate Pokémon. Like maybe water type with tentacles like Octillery since she has an affinity and love for water type Pokémon or a grass type with vines since grass would be her weakness. You could even influence her brain chemistry with spores and powders with that type. Or if you’re feeling particularly mean spirited, have bug type Pokémon do the job.
But people love them some Hypno I guess so whatever.
