you can have all the power in the world, but if you place your position of power above the well being of your body. then you may as well be dead. your simple minded view of "realism>idealism" would be the death of the world. if evolving to be more perfect means wanting more money and more power, how would the common man survive? the only people left would be the people you cant see.. and you need to work for them, to make money for them, to buy their shit. when it comes to power, your weak minded aspirations to have it will be dwarfed by my indignant defiance to the gain of power and money. THEN, your "realism" will be the only thing that you have left as you die at the hands of the "higher evolved" people with "power". the only difference will be I will die with dignity.
