The only thing I don't really get is... why would a reptile have breasts? Like, in the elder scrolls, bi-racial children are always the race of the mother. And argonian mouths aren't designed to suckle. So what use would breasts serve, biologically? Not to feed children, as mammalian breasts would. Solely for pleasure? But that's a huge waste of resources and energy (building and maintaining them) for something that purely cosmetic. It just makes no sense.

And yes, I know. "Shut up and fap". But that's how my brain works, sadly.

The hist created the argonians by splicing the material of mortal races who have breasts into swamp lizards who were very hardy.
They aren't actually reptilian so much as artifical hybrids due to the hists (limited) ability of biological manipulation.

The lizards retain only the traits that made them so hardy. Argonians are mostly an imitation of the other moral races and are in fact supposed to mingle with them in the name of their hist masters so being aesthetically pleasing is actually a plus.

Also their mouths can suckle since they need to suckle the sap from the hist trees as babies to gain a proper connection and some do this without oversight.
