Someone really needs to safeguard those things. The sheer amount of times a bad guy has been able to gather them all and get some wish time is almost inexcusable. It honestly makes their struggle of getting and keeping the dragon balls out of the enemy’s hands back on Namek seem like it came from a completely different series. I think it’s a bit foolhardy to hope and count on every villain being kind of incompetent or dumb. I mean if a serious villain from another story got their wish it’d most likely be game over.

I have to agree, scatter those things to the furthest reaches like how the Avengers hides the Infinity Stones as far apart from each other as possible.

Granted some villains are not aware of them and still others like Cell was but didn't give a damn so count your small blessings I guess.
