dunno anything about hero academia and this character, but it isn't as hard as kale is literally a hatred fem-broly only, with awkward stereotypical yandere tendencies.

Also she wasn't even planned from toriyama or toyotaoru and rather a brainchild of toei as much as i know.

the other probably is an all oiginal character (?)

I dunno, the Cell saga was pretty complex background wise for a show that's pretty much wrestling but with super powers.

everything around future trunks (z-version), his origin and timeline was pretty complex, highly emotional and dramatically written (for dragon ball)

He and Bardock (original Version) are the most buffeted characters in dragon ball imo, in sharing somewhat similar Circumstances which was abet through the two TV Specials of them, narrative-wise.
