I would think that there is way more than enough pressure on that pin holding the rope, that the few pounds of weights wouldnt let it drop

botato, look at the way the pin is shaped. The rope will slowly start to squeeze it downwards because of its triangular shape. it'll let it drop and it won't have any qualms in doing so. she's screwed (in a bad way)

Notice the the slant of the pin she's holding? Without her holding it the weight of her body pulling to the side would simply move up the slanted metal instead of holding it in place.
