not bad but ever since the reboot, it seems that everyone settled on a faceless, fully cover doom marine when one of his main characteristics was his face
he's beautiful and that's why doomgal is lame, when he could have had doomguy bara

I think it adds a bit of intrigue when you don’t know exactly what they look like underneath. I think Dredd and Goblin Slayer are decent examples of how you can follow someone who’s basically masked the entire time. You might make it harder to humanize them or make them relatable but it’s not impossible. Also weren’t the faces in Doom and Wolfenstein practically the same anyway?
