Hey, thats not a gun shes holding. Guns sit the other way, allowing you to pull the trigger with your forefinger, not your pinky. (That is, unless youre cosplaying a character that is deliberately weird, such as death the kid from soul eater). But seriously, thats a night stick, aka, a Tonfa.

She's holding it like a tonfa. I know nothing about this series but in the world of anime and video games, I wouldn't put it past someone to use a welrod as a melee weapon.
