Honestly, the plot devices in the damned game are about as believable as this these days.
It's easily one of the reasons I haven't played since Heavensward finished.
Still, this game is responsible for a TON of good Lupine Porn,
so, for that, and my fond memories, I STILL LOVE THIS GAME!

FFXIV storyline has improved, but it's not supposed to be believable, hence the name containing the word fantasy. Maybe you should give it another chance anon1.

That "fantasy" and "believability" argument applies to the setting, not the plot. A nonsensical plot is only something that is "supposed" to happen in a farce.

I can just imagine them sat around at the next main quest mission confused wondering where the warrior of light is as she’s being hypnotised into having sex with wolves and being impregnated for a beat tribe quest.
