I dont think its a secret. I think its a Dominance thing. She tends to fall for handome guys who have a badass attitude and a lot of balls and power to back it up. Yamcha, Zarbon, etc. Vegeta's probably the most hardcore fucker in the galaxy.... who cant resist that?

Wrong. Toriyama himself said there were no complex explanations to this pairing because he admited he's unable to write romance/relationship for his life.

VegetaXBulma was only the result of him being preasured by Shounen Jump to drag on the manga after it was supposed to end (Frieza saga) and realizing that he would need more Super Saiyans. The only relevant female aside from Chichi was Bulma, and he needed a female to hook up with Vegeta so he could have another young Super Saiyan aside from Gohan.
