eventhough its a myth... the notion that they cut off one breast is purely based on “some” translations of the word amazon, heres a quote from wikipedia “]Among Classical Greeks, amazonwas given a popular etymology as from a-mazos, "without breast", connected with an etiological tradition that Amazons had their right breast cut off or burnt out, so they would be able to use a bow more freely and throw spears without the physical limitation and obstruction[4]; there is no indication of such a practice in works of art, in which the Amazons are always represented with both breasts, although the right is frequently covered. i also do believe a simple chest wrap would have been a more likely solution.

Its just a picture, but it kind of baffles me. Shouldn't archers take to higher ground? I mean those men have armor on, and those steps look like it would take a few seconds to get up, meaning the favor is for the amazons. The amazons are just scattered about, two are standing around, one had a sword but is not near an enemy, and another is charging alone... "let me take this man's head" while someone next to you just got run threw with a spear, yeah.

This needs more rape, and less guro.
Still, it's quite an effective picture, very well done, aside from the tactical errors pointed out by X. Perhaps this is why woman warriors were short lived, yes?
(Misogynist jokes?! Oh my gosh, so offensive! This guy's out of control!)
