I know a lot of fans didn't like this design but I wish this was the design they went with for Godzilla: Final Wars. I mean Shin Godzilla is way, way more radical of a design and they went with it and it seems to have just as many lovers as it does haters.

The design we did get for Final Wars isn't bad, it's like a more skinny Heisei or larger late Showa. Then again GFW was a bit too goofy even when compared to other Showa films and Godzilla wasn't treated as the focus in his own 50th B-day film, so maybe it's better this design didn't get wasted with so little focus.

Still, I'd be cool to see it in a future movie or game.
