At the very least, she shows that being an angel doesn't mean she "good and pure". A sadistic little bitch, to be honest.
Compare with Lucifer (Queen of Hell), who as opposed to slapping people with a whip or riding crop, will instead slap on an apron and make crepes for everyone.
If Heaven's filled with people like Archangel, then Hell's the place for me.
