A decade ago this would not have mattered, people would have admired the art and some would even have gotten hot and hard from it.
Nowadays however we've had the misfortune of encountering and interacting with the type of artists who make race swap images and they are usually bitter, arrogant weirdos with a chip on their shoulder.
These types of artists have thus conditioned many people to associate race swap imagery with bitter loathsome narcissism and seeing such images now only bring up feelings of disgust in the average person.

The "average person" would just see fan art and move on. There are arrogant and/or narcissistic people who make all kinds of art. Why get mad at race swap art in particular?

@QAiizx people also got upset seeing fan art of Samus and the Nintendo princesses declaring themselves gay when they have no problem seeing them have gay sex with other women. I guess because the written words kind of killed their having multiple women fantasy but it's like the other art still exists, just go look at that.

No I don't really have anything to add other than people are weird.
