i was expecting a more "pyramid head-like" character for wabisuke since i feel his sword is a symbol of repentance. but i guess that big ball he's always carrying around is enough along with his thin body.

I think that the Captain Commander is behind the whole ordeal.... he randomly disappears and the reason he has created this ordeal is to show the shinigami how much they have relied on their sword's power rather than their own. Especially in Kenpachi's absence which because he only fights with his own brute strength it would not matter to him if his zanpakutou materializes he would just kill it.

What I don't like is, if any of you remember, zanpakutou's weren't just humans. Renji's zanpakutou was a monkey with a snake tail. Now they are all humanoid? This is horse hockey. The idea that a zanpakutou could be any form is more badass in my opinion.

ok, there posts are alittle bit old, but kenpachi hasalready appeared now, and genryusai has actuallly sealed himself because he was aware of muramasa, so he sealed himself off so ryujin jaka was safe, so watch the current episodes and yo will understand.
