Years later I come back to this and have to facepalm. Indeed, that was a very dumb translation I did there.
She is, as you said, just asking if that is enough to make her pregnant. But she expressed it in such an extremely vague and implied manner, that it is hard for me to choose the right words in English; or at least, that is how I feel about it.

I will try to fix it somehow. Thank you for pointing it out.
