I doubt it actually, as otherwise keeping the gun level would mean half a loaded flask's contents spilling out into the gun in some way. Which considering the diagram for loading a flask, yeah probably not liquid in the flasks. My guess, elemental energy of some kind.

Considering all the flasks in the image have space between their contents and the bottom of the flasks, and also seem to have flecks of their content floating up the neck, it definitely doesn't care for gravity..

Bigger issue i see, though, is that the ironsight is basically useless, cause the flask blocks it out xD
