Anon1 and 2, I'm surprised that YOUR surprised #18 can bleed and cry. She was a human, but Dr. Gero made some changes to turn her into half machine- a being we cal "Android". So she can still bleed and cry, she just doesn't so easily. She certainly can cry because she still has a heart, or she wouldn't be able to love that cueball, Krillen. And as for bleeding... what do you think is keeping her skin from rotting off? (Being an Android, she doesn't age)

Sigh! Brandonlee, you are confusing cyborgs (part machine, part human) with androids. An android, by definition, is a fully artificial robot that closely resembles a human in appearance.
Android 18 was turned completely human as part of a wish granted after all dragonballs were collected. ..or so I was informed by someone who has watched the whole series.

Sigh! Brandonlee, you are confusing cyborgs (part machine, part human) with androids. An android, by definition, is a fully artificial robot that closely resembles a human in appearance.

i just watched the series
and no android 18 didnt became a human from a wish
shenron krillin wanted to wish that true
but shenron coundnt make the wish come true
instead of that krillin wished for removing the explosives
other then that
18 is still a android and has everything that a human has
she can bleed pee eat and even get a baby marin
