What the king doesn't know won't hurt him. But yes, this falls under the 'practicing before the ceremony' exclusion clause. Alternatively, this is the reason they got married, as the King heard about it and was like 'oh hell no, no bastard heirs to my throne, you marrying her RIGHT now, thank you...'
