Well Anon... the one before me, I don't feel like counting, dattebayo means believe it about as much as sarcasm means something that is funny. It's horribly wrong, and not what the word really means, but as is gets used more in popular culture, it loses its meaning.
Long story short: There is no call for adding "You idiot" on to the end of a statement. Kindly inform someone that they are wrong, then if they insist that they are right (and you can prove that they are not) then feel free to call them an idiot and storm off without even so much as a punctuation mark.
