Upon seeing the thumbnail I asked myself why I was seeing a Big Daddy pin Samus to a wall.

I wish that 'teaser' at the end of Hunters would get fleshed out a little.

Actually, I doubt Weavel would just kill her outright. He would make her suffer first for all that she had done to his Space Pirate companions. Then he had his fun, end her.
