in disgaea 2, the person said he was (or mindset terms "is") a male when he was human, but it never referenced anything about if he still is a male as a monster and that all other floral beasts u fight in random maps all have female names so i think that monster transformation doesnt matter in gender but the monster itself is female

Just to clear this up, most monsters of this type are considered female, though when you obtain Tink and talk to Bridget, Bridget says that he is a male then Tink says "I hate zose who have ze Ding a' lings!" therefore Bridget is the only possible male one till they introduce another like that if they do.
