Maybe she was raped shortly before the infection took hold, and she's still traumatized by all the crazy shit that's happened to her. That, coupled with the possibility of memories of human life and grief over her lack of self-control due to the infection, could very well answer the age-old L4D question "Why does a Witch cry?"
