Except this version of Big Boss is a total sissy that considers being forced to runaway form a fight is the same as dieing. This version of Big Boss also "died" from having his shoulder set on fire as apposed to what really happened at the end of MG2. This Big Boss is supposed to be full of love and justice to the point that he would have never attacked Snake let alone troll him as he did in MG2.
So, no this version of Big Boss was a waste of space that makes all of his actions meaningless and senseless. What makes this version even more unmanly is the fact that all of Snake's past actions were thrown out the window and David was reduced to a fodder character to make him look good. A real man should be able to stand of his own to feet .
