Well, if this is the result if time travel, it would be paradoxical, as there would not be duplicates if the young ones traveled forward, and if the old ones were to travel back, they would run into endless paradoxes. If this is the result of universes colliding, well, who knows. So basically, getting pregnant would only be one of many paradoxes.
