ElenaMontoro, i would try to explain the rampant transphobia or, more often, the straight up denial of trans people's existence on here and similar places, but there really isn't an explanation. the best i can come up with is that some people probably don't even consider that trans people are a thing, or it's a fucked up perception (fueled by the sexual nature of this place) that trans people are actually just sissies/traps and it's all a fetish and so they often don't respect pronouns (spoiler for anyone else reading, it's not a fetish. fuck you if you think it is.)

i would also like to take a moment to comment on the fact that the word 'trap', or rather the very idea of it, is transphobic, considering it implies what i said above and also, more traditionally, implies that trans people are just gay men trying to trick hetero men into having sex. this is NOT TRUE, and again, fuck you if you think is it.

so uh, if you don't know the gender/pronouns of a character that has a good chance of being unpredictable, just use they/them.

i know this is the worst site to rant about all this so uh, yeah.
