I don't think this is suppose to be a pic for Pokemon Special, I think its just showing the PKMN protagonists and rivals. Their designs are different in Special, especially Red.

Red, Green and Blue's Pokemon's are mixed up. Same goes for Pearl and Diamond.
Sapphire's not wearing blue and she's no fangs.
Red looks more like he's cosplaying Ash from the anime <-nooes.

...And Emerald should be here for Treeko or Wally. Whoever.

And Treeko's not weak. He's misunderstood. Lol.

yes this isn't special, but i think them should draw Cyrstal and Mitsuru(Wally) more. Especially Crystal, it's kinda sad she's being replaced by Kotone everywhere while Crystal is actually the first female protagonist in game! World seem so cruel when it down to moeness
