I don't see nothing cursed or cringe in this mash-up (I'm not even a fan of garfield), I only see the perfect representation of how the Gundam franchise is being exploited to no end by the owners of the IP. I mean, they made out whole genre of mecha-based waifus and an entire anime based on them just to keep ca$hing in on the fans of said franchise, Gundam is like the Star Wars of anime in both good and negative terms. Albeit for me the IP officialy ended with Char's counterattack, even with Gundam Z not already being that good compared to 0079 and that third crappy kid friendly show that even Tomino himself doesn't see as canonical.

And If I say that the franchise is exploited, me that I bought a char custom's bag on Aliexpress because Char/the Red Baron forever and ever and ever, it should tell you something. At least it wasn't that expensive.
