A feather stiff enough to insert easily into the urethra may be too stiff to be easily removed from the urethra.
The barbs of the feather will fold back from the forward motion of the feather making it easy to insert the feather into the urethra.
Attempting to remove the feather from the urethra will cause the barbs of the feather to open up inside the urethra jamming the barbs against the walls of the urethra making removal of the feather very difficult if not impassable.

A feather that is too stiff will really mess up someone's day.
