Yeah. Even if you're not into hentai, from a purely artistic impression you have to be appalled by this. Someone busts their ass to do a very beautiful picture that has a very tasteful nude in it, and then some dipshit comes along and puts a big blocky censor right in the middle of it.

It amazes me that Greek and Roman cultures didn't have such censorship, but we do. And we consider ourselves more "advanced". *sigh*facepalm*

I don't think there's an uncensored version. The very shirow masamune must have censored it for the poster book since IT'S ILLEGAL TO SHOW UNCENSORED FEMALE GENITALIA OR ADULT MALE GENITALIA IN JAPAN NO MATTER WHERE.
But with this I'm not saying it would be much better without censorhip. The way shirow draws and colours, he could only draw the most tasty-chubby-cute-shiny of vaginas.
