I've seen two other pictures related to this one and this 'series' involves oviposition, so that bulge is apparently eggs from the tentacle.

no I have seen Crimson Spell, that manga doesnt look anything like the pictures either. it could be just an "original" character altogether (maybe partly asthetically inspired by L) IMHO this looks closer to L than anything/one else........albeit an L that has been pumping much iron
