I don't know why the artist changed the name. It still sounds good to call Ace a girl (besides it's a gender swap, not a name swap)

Fun fact, Ace in this picture is not genderswapped.
Whitebeard is simply so manly that Ace looks like a woman in comparison. It's an optical illusion caused by the difference in manlieness between the two!
