^I don't know. In the movie yes but in the manga Nausicaa destroys monsters twice her size, kills the Vai emperor, commands the God Warrior, and destroys half the Holy City of Shuwa. That's pretty badass in my book.

And she uses a MACHINE GUN in the anime to force the badguys to take her back to her valley. Also in the anime she (after her father is killed) goes and PWNS a bunch of enemy soldiers in hand to hand combat. She would EASILLY make a decent fighter, and they SHOULD have a crossover movie with these 2 fighting.

While this would be a pretty vicious fight, let us not forget that Nausicaa does have a talent for calming savage beasts and I've no doubt that she can do the same with San.
