I like this artist's work a lot, except for that s/he almost always gives the girls nail polish. I guess something about mail polish turns me off

I actually get what you mean, for a solid decade I found nail polish kind of off-putting. Even to this day, my favourite look is the French manicure/pedicure (I guess that's still polish).

However, as of late, I've kinda started digging the nail polish look, as long as it's not applied sloppily or used in the wrong environment. Like I dig the deep red nails look with a cocktail dress and heels for example.

I think I like it in H-images is because they're pretty much always perfectly painted, and in the right settings. You also got that element of anime girls just cutely pulling off creative looks that wouldn't work well in real life.
