Maybe cuz she's thirty feet tall and the picture is from an actual view looking up at her giantness? Just throwing that out there.

She's a monster you must defeat to get the summon Alexander on Final Fantasy VII, you can find her on the glacier, she's like an ice spirit or something.

Close; this is a Pollensalta which is a monster in the final area of FF VII. You fight a monster called Snow (basically just a pallet swap) to get the Alexander Materia.
