While I appreciate that the .276 Pedersen has been vindicated after almost a century—and know that the M4 and 5.56 aren't all the way out the door, at least not for the time being—I have to agree with M1918 on this one.

Personally I'm let down that neither Textron's gun and telescoped ammo nor the True Velocity's bullpup and plastic cased ammo won. But to each their own. I just feel this isn't really different enough to warrant tax payers money going to it.

They now changed the name of the gun from XM5 to XM7.

Just fucking pick a name and stick with one, god sometimes I hate gun names.
