I saw this and I thought "oh a new digimon movie or series?" But its summer wars which turned out to be a really good movie in itself.

I wish they did a cross over of the two. id love to see it in the style they did this movie. that would be badass.

why is it that only the digimon on the far left still look cartoonish despite being in their final form. i mean i can only name 3 of them, maybe, cause i only reconise 3 of the digimons final form one way or another but its only the one on the far left thats still childish

@hanabishi_kanda The digimon in Summer War Game aren't the same kind as those in other series. They don't evolve further to get stronger. And that one's a guest avatar, not a custom user one like the rabbit and the grinning indian looking one (Which is the main antagonist)

Dudes, the person who directed the first three Digimon movies, aka Digimon: The Movie, also directed Summer Wars. It was done in a similar art style. At least during the in-game scenes.

I know, because that is the reason I want to watch Our War Game again

Not only art/scene styles, but also some of the plot

@hanabishi, The creature to the far left is not a Digimon, its that guy's avatar on an online world called OZ. Three of those characters are from a show called Summer Wars, not from Digimon.

The same people did the art for both movies, hence the reason they're essentially combined here.
