My assumption when I started reading was that she didn't want him to come to the castle because she was having Bowser round. Upon reflection that is indeed probably why she doesn't want Mario to think there might be any reason to go there.
She plays the part of the Princess very well but the fanbase knows she was always a player. It's hard to not feel impressed.

from a lewd perspective shes probably getting railed by bowser, but i think its funny to imagine this is what she sends to mario when she just doesnt bake something right
