Oh good lord, I hated these things so much. The first time I played the game, they creeped me out so much and scared the crap out of me. Once I figured out the trick to fighting them though, they simply annoyed me and mildly creeped me out. Still hate them though and I relished it when they died (again?) and usually slashed at their vanishing corpse a few times for good measure.

The first level it appeared in overall creeped me out more. What are prison cells and torture devices doing at the bottom of the village's well?? With blood on the walls and naked put-my-dead-zombified-dick-in-your-mouth and eat-your-brain zombies appearing here and there?? In an E-rated game?!?

I remember when I first got to the well in that damn stupid village after getting bored with making link get mauled by chickens.
Ass soon as I went down I got a weird vibe and one instant thought.
"Not gonna like this..."
Went deeper in.
"REALLY not gonna like this."
Then I saw that.
"FUCKING HATE IT."
Threw the stick down, cut the game off and didn't play it for a while...
....buuuuut 5 minutes later I cut it back on, went back in the well, went past a few zombified rapists, and slashed the FUCK outta that thing.
Later I confused myself by getting scared again at that part when I started a new game, when I had nonchalantly passed it out of boredom before.
....welp....gonna go play OOT now. feelin the need to use anon 273317's line on it.
