Quitting is like returning to the title screen after losing a life to level 1 midboss on easy modo.
You can and should continue to play even if you screw up a few times.
The time to quit is when you run out of continues.

I can understand your determination and drive for self improvement, Anon 1, but there DOES come a point at which you should accept defeat and try to find another way, especially if it looks like your face just hit terminal velocity. Sanae can try another day, and on that day when she wins, she can stand proudly in the glory of her accomplisment, but for now, she clearly needs to treat her wounds and compose herself. I think it's safe to say this is already her last continue.
